Did you ever have a sixth grade buddy when you were little? Mrs. Hayden's class has begun to help Mrs. Rudolph's younger class with different projects. Our first project was to make a turkey for Thanksgiving. They colored the feathers in and we, their older buddies, had to sew them onto the turkey's body. Then, the little kids glued poems onto the center of their turkey project. My group was finished first so we read to our little buddy while the other kids finished working on their turkeys. We all had a great time. Our class is looking forward to doing more projects with this class and spending time with our little buddies! - Alexandra Dos Santos
